We created QUI Rare as a natural extension of our core purpose - making exceptional aged tequilas accessible.

This one-of-a-kind extra añejo, and the crown jewel of Qui Tequila, is carefully matured in hand-selected Tennessee Whiskey and French Bordeaux barrels for 12 years. Aging our Rare tequila for over a decade results in it’s incredible qualities and distinct beautiful aromas of wood, tobacco, caramel, and vanilla.

On the palate, it is smooth, flavorful, and elegant with hints of sweet oak and a buttery finish.

Every great idea starts with a challenge.

Ours was simple: fine aged tequilas were not widely available in America.

It was on a trip to Mexico in the 90’s where QUI co-founder, Medhat discovered his passion for fine aged tequilas. He came to love their incredible flavor and wonderfully smooth finish. He wanted to bring that world best taste and exclusivity back to New York. The problem? These luxurious liquors were something that could rarely be enjoyed as their price point was just beyond the reach of so many.

QUI was established with the aim of not only creating the finest sipping tequilas on the market, but also making them accessible to more people, not less. Our mission has led us to create an exceptional, award winning and simply luxurious range of liquors.

To create our tequilas, we discard the heads and tails of each distillation, using only the heart, which is the very best. It gave rise to QUI from the word te-QUI-la.

Made using 100% Blue Agave grown in the highest region of the Los Altos highlands of Jalsco - the spiritual home of tequila, QUI is dedicated to creating the next generation of premium tequilas.

We take pride in our 12 year maturation process - using only the finest, hand-selected Tennessee Whiskey and French Bordeaux barrels. Aging our tequila for over a decade results in the incredible qualities seen in Rare with its distinct beautiful aromas of wood, tobacco, caramel, and vanilla.

QUI Rare is a one time limited barrel release, with less than 2000 bottles made available. Now is the time to act and purchase this world class premium Tequila.
